Specialized ERP Therapy:
Reclaim Control from OCD and Anxiety

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy is widely recognized as the gold-standard behavioral intervention for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and severe anxiety disorders. At my clinical practice in Mountain View, CA, I provide structured, evidence-based ERP treatment tailored to help individuals systematically confront anxiety triggers without relying on repetitive compulsions. By fostering a collaborative therapeutic environment, we focus on breaking maladaptive behavioral cycles and reinforcing distress tolerance. Available both in-person and via secure telehealth across California, this targeted approach equips clients with concrete, long-term strategies to reclaim cognitive freedom and functional independence.

Experience the profound difference that Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy can make in your life. ERP is widely recognized as a gold-standard treatment for various anxiety-related disorders and stands as the first-line, evidence-based therapy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

How does ERP work? Think of behavioral exposure much like a prescribed intervention for your anxiety: finding the right "dosage" is critical to its success. Too much exposure all at once can feel overwhelming and discouraging, while too little will not create a sufficient dent in your progress. High dose of exposure is regarded as flooding. Flooding can be highly therapeutic under the right circumstance, but is not commonly perscribed.

To optimize your path toward treatment success. I collaborate closely with you to design and customize the right level of exposures. Just like building any new habit, exposure exercises need to be practiced consistently and daily. Through structured, regular practice, your brain learns to tolerate distress, allowing severe symptoms to diminish over time.

Supported by specialized clinical expertise, you will uncover your inherent confidence and resilience, ultimately empowering you to break free from the debilitating cycle of anxiety.
